Telephone Support Line

The Support Line provides support for individuals living with mental health difficulties. Our team listen unconditionally with respect and empathy.  They give support and advice, from immediate anxiety reducing techniques, to communicating in a way to empower and allow issues and problems to be seen from potentially different perspectives. Staff also actively sign post and act as a great source of information highlighting what other services are available in Norfolk and Norwich.

The Role

This is a rewarding role and ideally suited for anyone looking to work in the afternoons, evenings and weekends. By the very nature of poor mental health, an individual’s difficulties can often intensify in the darker hours and at times when a person feels more isolated and alone.

Experience of working in a mental health setting is advantageous, however all successful applicants will be provided with full training and regular supervision.

Our vision is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all and one that treats people with experience of mental distress fairly, positively and with respect.

20% enhancement is paid for unsocial hours worked between 22:00 – 07:00.
